Our Techniques
Our techniques blend traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, ensuring each carpet is a masterpiece of quality and design.

Hand-Knotting
This is one of the oldest and most labor-intensive methods, where artisans tie individual knots to a warp (vertical threads) on a loom. The number of knots per square inch determines the carpet's density and durability. Famous examples include Persian and Turkish carpets.

Tufting
Hooking involves pulling loops of yarn through a stiff woven base such as burlap or linen, creating a looped pile. Punch needle is a similar technique but uses a hollow needle, creating a flat, dense pile. Both are popular for their textural qualities and ease of learning

Weaving
Flatweave carpets are made on a loom and woven like fabric, resulting in a flat surface without a pile. Techniques like Kilim, Dhurrie, and Soumak fall under this category and are prized for their intricate designs and durability.

Dyeing and Printing
After the carpets are made, they can be dyed using various techniques to add color. Traditional methods include using natural dyes derived from plants and insects, while modern methods use synthetic dyes for a broader range of colors and patterns. Advanced digital printing can also be applied to carpets for detailed, vibrant designs.
